Tattered Inspirations - Victoria's Glory Box Kit

Here is my first original creation for Tattered Inspirations using the 'Victoria's Glory Box' kit. The design is totally mine and the bag can be made using one sheet of Bazzill. It features Carol's beautiful handmade flowers, hatpins and a cabochon, along with the vintage printables.

ScrapBoutique LO of the Week!!

I just popped over to the ScrapBoutique forum to find out that my LO (above) has been chosen as their current LO of the week. What a total surprise! I am still relatively new to the SB community and love that they obviously like my work. I'm chuffed!! That's my second 'good scrap news' for this week!

My New DESIGN TEAM Position!

It is with total excitement that I share with you all, that I have just been offered an exciting DESIGN TEAM POSITION for Tattered Inspirations with the lovely Carol Mead.
Carol is an extremely talented mixed media artist, watercolourist, scrapbooker and potter and I will be creating scrapbooking layouts, cards and other inspirational pieces using her divine creations and kits from her Etsy Shop. Please take some time to visit her shop. You won't be disappointed - you will be inspired to create - as I was when I first visited!!

You always know when the posts have slowed that a new school term has commenced and that the scrapping has come to a halt. Scrap That Poetry's First Anniversary Challenge

Please join with me in the celebration of Scrap That Poetry's First Anniversary Challenge. This is my last challenge as a Design Team member. I am stepping down from the DT to concentrate on my health and other endeavours. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a DT member and wish the new DTs the best of luck. ScrapBoutique October Stash Stomper

There are some fabulous monthly challenges over at ScrapBoutique and I especially loved this one, where you had to pull out some old chipboard and stickers and use them with the sketch given! I unearthed some Basic Grey 'Sugared' PPs, chipboard elements and stickers and put this LO together. It is now one of my absolute favourites! Thanks Em!

LSBS Weekend Warrior Challenge

This weekend the challenge was to create a LO using fabric, a page from a book and masking tape. Unfortunately I do not have a stitch of masking tape in my house but managed to cover the rest of the criteria.
