I Won!

So happy to find out that my double layout entry into the Castle Hill Show won the first place ribbon again this year. That's three years in a row now and I couldn't be happier! This one is even more special because it commemorates mum and dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary this year.

My Venture into The world of Art Journaling

I'm not one to jump on the 'latest bandwagon' of new things and trends. I have a tendency to watch others, see what develops first and then decide whether or not to invest in taking on something new. Well I haven't had to invest much in getting started in the world of art journaling, because I found that I already own most of the mixed-media supplies needed from my Scrapbooking! I signed up for the Journal Journey course on the Kreative Koncepts FB page and am having fun playing with the techniques and ideas being shared.

This page was all about using some resist techniques and two colours only. I chose the teal, yellow/gold combination and found these words in my 'One Year' book. Someone 'rained on my sunshine' today so I wanted to dedicate a page to reminding myself to listen to my inner voice and silence the noise of others.

Scrapbooking Memories Masters - Honourable Mention

I was so chuffed to receive an Honourable Mention inclusion in the latest edition of 

Scrapbooking memories for one of my Masters entries. This was the entry where you were required to use 'non-traditional' scrapbooking items on your page.

Here it is! This picture was taken on 2013 when I holidayed in Coffs Harbour and my 

beautiful friend Deb came to visit.

Feeling Sketchy

reflect that in my layout by not going overboard with embellishments.

A Weekend In Paris

Tattered Inspirations run the best scrapbooking retreats and the last one titled "Parisian Romance" (a couple of weekends ago) would have to have been the best one yet! Awesome company, superb catering and great shopping, not to mention the fabulous group of ladies to scrap with too!

Black With 2 (BW2) March Challenge

Well it's all things "lemon and thyme" over at BW2 this month. Not colours I would normally scrap together, but I knew I kept that BG 'Origins' PP around for a reason!

My title reads - "You Are My SUNSHINE" - using the word of the  month!

We recently celebrated my mum's 70th birthday and this photo was taken on the day of my 

mum and dad. It's very rare to get one of them both smiling nicely!
