ARTastic November Challenge
Here it is! The November inspiration for the ARTastic Challenge blog - a beautiful painting called 'A Greek Woman' by Lawrence Alma-Tadema.
As this is not a hard or difficult painting to draw inspiration from, it would be a good piece to do of your mum/mother-in-law, could be done vintage or shabby chic style, wedding, communion, garden etc............. The possibilities are endless........cant wait to see what you all come up with :)
We also welcome Tanya D. Joseph to our ARTastic Design Team!

ANOTHER WINNER! Little Scrapbook Shop - 52 Pick Up #40 & Enchanted Scrapbooking CC "GARDEN" entry
I just found out that this won the Enchanted Cybercrop challenge!! Thanks Enchanted! I'm chuffed!
Loving these dual purpose layouts! For the Little Scrapbook Shop challenge we had to scrap a LO straight onto a 12x12 piece of corrugated cardboard and use a photo from our past. So here I am, holding my nephew Jeremy, back in 1996 when he was born! For Enchanted Scrapbooking the CC theme is 'Whimsical' and we had to use products/techniques to represent the letters in the word GARDEN.
G = giraffe
A = alphas
R = ribbon
D = distressed edges
E = etching on the photo
N = notecard under the giraffe and new brads!
So I combined both challenges into this one layout. I call it good time management!

IT'S A WINNER!!! Look at my Holly Dolly!
NEWSFLASH: I just found out that this Layout won the category for Challenge #42 for use of colour and Holly's adorable eyes! I'm chuffed! Thanks LSBS!
I managed to do a 'kill two birds with one stone' layout this weekend. It started out as Little Scrapbook Shop's 52 Pick Up Challenge #42 - a layout with hidden journalling ...... and then when Tiff posted her challenge for the Enchanted Scrapbooking Cybercrop this weekend - to use a whole packet of something on a layout, I had a packet of 3 ScrapFX chipboard bones perfect for the LO as well. So it is a LO for two purposes! Can you do that? Well I did and both sites get a mention here! So it's a win-win situation I think.
I hope you like it.

LSBS 52 Pick-Up Challenge #41 - Fridge Frame
I created this Fridge Frame using scrap corrugated cardboard. I hand drew the frame based on a 5x7 size photo, cut it out, covered it with Basic Grey 'Sugared' PP and added some more 'Sugared' chipboard elements and bling. I had an A4 sheet of magnetic backing laying around so it was perfect to stick on the back and it now takes pride of place on the front of my fridge with Vanilla's two DDs.

Two More LSBS 52 Pick-Up Challenges~!
Two recent LOs for the Little Scrapbook Shop 52 Pick-Up challenges.
We had to use an item with 'negative' space - so the giant paw was perfect for this.
For this we had to take inspiration from a picture on a tissue box and then scrap with colours we wouldn't normally use. For me that is basically yellows and oranges. (Until you scroll down and see my other LO with orange in it - hahaha!)
Thanks for stopping by to take a look. I just love being on holidays to feed my scrap addiction!

My ARTastic October Challenge
Artist for October is Vincent van Gogh - Starry Night
This is my interpretation using the Starry Night painting as my inspiration.
Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist artist whose paintings have had a far reaching influence on 20th century art.
Head on over to the ARTastic Challenge Blog and take up the challenge!!
